Night Fishing July 7th 2004

Well we (my friend Craig and I) hit the Port Dover marina tonight hoping for a few night bass. Fishing was really slow but we did manage 2 in a couple of hours. One was on a black Hula Popper and the other on a black/blue tri-blade buzzbait.

Craig's was about 2lbs..

And here's my wimpy half pounder.

All in all it was a good night, tomorrow we're hitting the hydro outflow in my boat, hope it's a good day!

BBR, did you ever try a 1/2 oz Black Spinnerbait with a # 6 or 7 hammered copper Colorado tipped with a black pork frog? This is a very good nite bass bait. Just be sure to work it very slow, just enough to make the blade thump.
