OVSB Constant Lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

OVSB Constant Lake

Post by Seaweed »

Well the weights were close this past weekend in the Ottawa Valley South Bassmaster tournie on Constant and we almost wound up in the money ... but a 5lb 7oz pushed out out of it. We did have big fish with a 4.6 until they weighed in.

We enjoyed a great bunch of fishing though... great lake indeed.

Nce job Chris. Its a fun lake to fish but to win a tourny you really need that kicker fish and they did just that. Lots of 2-3lbs fish. What place to they pay up to?

The OVSB tournaments pay 1st, 2nd, 3rd and big fish, not a lot of cash, but helps cover expenses.

Your 4+ pounder was a nice fish Chris, nice job.

I fished with Lawrence on the Blindfishing.com boat, and we couldn't find the 5 pound kicker we needed. Lawrence kicked my butt fishing, my job was apparently to catch the 10" and get them out of Lawrence's way.

Oh well 1 tournament left... late September on Big Rideau Lake.... bring on the fall smallies.
