Now these are the calibre and quality of reports I love to see. Family's bonding and enjoying an activity together.
I never had summer fishing vacations with my family and I must say reading these makes me realize how much I missed out!
Good for you Wolf Clan. Another VERY memorable summer. I very much look forward to when these boys are older and DOMINATING on the tournament circuit.
Their passion and joy of the sport..."sans ego" is a true inspiration to how we should ALL view the sport!
Thanks for the post Wolfe!
P.S: Yes Steve, next Tuesday...

Thanks guys for all the positive comments.
And the only talk of "school" these two want to hear is that of what kind of fish are schooling up on what shoal.
Poor dudes -- they're going to be shell-shocked on Tuesday, especially Ty, who starts an earlier school day as he begins 7th Grade (catch the bus at 6:45 a.m.). I'll be wicked down in the dumps, too. I'll miss my boys...and the fishing!
We're not done with our fishing yet, though -- we'll be back and forth here and there.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

No, though he wanted to in the worst way. It was quite the tussle in, and we'd already snapped a few pics. You know me: phobic for a good C&R, so in it went sans scale.bl8ant wrote:Nice report Wolfe, did Torpedo weigh that fatty?
I am guessing a good, solid 4ish, though.
Any other guesses?

Nice stuff Wolfe! You should really try to Quebec up your pictures a little.. when you catch a bass... make certain that the fish is at the end of your arm FULLY extended towards the camera lenses... and a look of self entitlement and self satisfaction that would make Simon Cowel blush.
EAP with attitude!!!!
Love the shots. Thanks for sharing!!

He's a little young to be playing with dynamite ain't he? Just kidding. Nice going gang!wolfe wrote:Shane messed around with the panfish, perch and occasional pike. He was on fire with his secret bait. Can't tell you how many times I heard, "GOT ONE!"
There are few problems in life which can not be solved with a well-placed, high-explosive projectile.

Best kind of report here! Big smiles, lots of fish plus friends and family.....
Lovin' the pig, Torpedo - oink, oink indeed!
And that perch is nothing to sneeze about....bet she would have tasted great in the pan....
Another wolfe lake adventure - glad to see the dogs escaped "porcupine" free..
Good Fishing,
Justin
P.S. have a great time at school, boys.....(I know, groan, groan)
