30 Inch Walleye on the Ottawa River

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

What a weird skinny looking walleye. Looks like it's missing part of it's fillets right under the dorsal fin. Great catch !!!
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

Nice fish!

Were you the kayak I saw on Tuesday in the big waves on the Ottawa near Mohr Island? If so, you are a brave soul. It was rough out there. Fish were on though.

You gotta starting taking that spinnerbait out of the fish before you take pictures. :P The secret that walleye like spinnerbaits wasn't supoosed to get out. Thats a beauty and it's amazing how much they like spinnerbaits along weed edges eh?? When I tell some of the oldtimers that I can catch walleye on spinner baits in the weeds they think I've been smoking weeds!!!!

The new generation of anglers catch anything on anything! The old generation thinks only certain lures catch certain fish! Lol
