joco - BA - 24/7 - cprince...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

joco - BA - 24/7 - cprince...

Post by tallpaul »

I'd like to get out in the canoe one last time... Sunday is probably a better day for me. Any interest?

Cheers,

Thats SOOOoo nice of you!! Good nephew! Mine comes over and drinks my pop, makes a stink in the bathroom and borrows money. Can I trade up?

BA and I are heading 1.5hrs north of the farm Sunday. And with the wind lately, you certainly are a brave man to be in a canoe! If you have some free time in the coming weeks I am certain we can work something out!

I know that it has been much maligned.... especially by me... and it certainly has its faults... but as far as wind protection goes.. variety and great for Kayaks and canoes... MacLaurin Bay cant be beat.

There are also MANY smaller lakes out here that are nestled in valleys protected by mountains. Look at a relief map, and weather forecast to see what lakes would be a good try for what day.

And the great thing about those kidney busters is you can launch them on the side of any road close to the water.

I am *not* going to Quinte!!

Thinking small water, obviously... or small river(s). How's the Rideau for boat traffic these days? I can deal with musky trollers... not keen on joy-riders!

Heading out to Quinte tommorow morning, hopefully we don't get blown off the lake. Maybe I'll see you up there Andy. Staying till Sunday.

No... I think it was because he wanted to fish with quiet, serious and humble fishermen.

When I read the title, I thought this was a report with all 4 guys in it :-)
Would have been one hell of a report!

"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
