Trip To lake erie for all!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hey guys, i would like to plan a trip down to lake erie for as many people as i can get out, between my friends and i we can probably take 20 people downriggin for big eyes, bows, salmon etc. If anyone is interested in planning a weekend trip please reply. This is for people that dont get a chance to downrig.

Love to drive the 1/2 hr to get there... 8)

I'll let the real travelers decided on the weekend, and try to firm up if it avoids my camping week away. (Aug 14-21)

Thanks for the offer!

Lake Erie...

Sounds good but for some reason I can't figure out how far that is from Ottawa.

7-9 hours I imagine...

my lady and I would kill for a day in big water. I've been once and she never has. Depending on the weekend put us in as big time interested.

(well, maybe not kill, but would consider torture or maim)

I have NEVER downrigged for anything in my life. would be nice to try. I hear its a great fight bringing those fish up from the depths. If there is room I wouldn't mind coming. You can have all the fish I catch. Assuming I catch some :)

As always I'm in for a road trip, so I'm in, if I don't have a bass tournament.

I was out on Erie on Monday with Salmon but no luck. I'm dying to get my first 10 pound or plus walleye.
