Thanks
Cough, Cough, I'll be calling in sick tomorrow.

Not sure, have not made it out to Erie yet, however, thats because I only have a Canoe, and 2 kayaks at my disposal.
Port Maitland, or towards Long Point would be easy to get to...
I have access to a free, launch into the Grand above the Caledonia Dam, and know where there is access in Cayuga...free public launch.
I will try to sign back into FH.net later tonight to check for your reply.

Dr. Legend to the rescue
A real nice day on the Grand River seemed to have some positive healing karma for our good friend Steve G.
I've never met Steve G but you know the quality and calibre of the folks here at Fish-Hawk.Net never ceases to impress me. Steve was extraordinarily hospitable, even in his weak and fragile state.
The fish however were once again AWOL save for a 14" SM and a 13" hammer handle Pike, courtesy of a lure that came free with a $5 fishing video game. I was at least able to scrounge a few virtual derby points for team 5.
Steve, thanks for a great day on the water. The lower Grand is certainly beautiful country and you are indeed a decent if not ailing guy.
Get well soon.

Ps. Here's a picture of the 14 foot Battleship holding poor Steve G up.
