A few nice pike = Some decent derby prizes

A few nice pike = Some decent derby prizes

Post by Splake_Hunter »

With my favourite trout waters being a slushy mess, I've spent alot of time chaasing pike this winter.

We fished a small lake north of kingston today as part of the Storrington Lions Hall Derby.

Landed 8 nice fish, and missed quite a few. All 8 were good enough for prizes in the derby.

4th one down is 8lbs even, and won 2nd place, prize was a nice smoker.

The winner was 9 lbs, which won a power auger.

Nice bunch of gators on the ice. :) You missed the power auger by one stinking pound! Rats.

Good haul there Splake Hunter

Congrats!!!

That smoker would be a good place for those pike to hang out in.

My kids would gobble up smoked pike as fast as I could make it.

Thanks for the report and pics.
