Let's be careful out there

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Here's a detailed article with a picture of their boat.

I hate to say it but this was simply an accident waiting to happen. Cutting a canoe in half, patching the end with plywood then thinking it will handle three adults. One of the guys wasn't even wearing his PFD, but using is a seat cushion.

Reminds me of a family of five that were fishing out of a canoe at Bate Island. Would you believe that they were securing their canoe to their roof rack with the binding twine you get at Home Depot to secure loose items. Needless to say I made sure that I wasn't driving behind them when I left. ;-)

I don't hate to say it, those guys were just plain stupid! They are lucky they all didn't drown.......... If there ever was an Ottawa darwin award, this could have been the winner.
I was actually at Andrew Hayden park and heard the sirens, just thought it was the wonderful neighbourhoods in that area.
