Magical morning before doing some work...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Magical morning before doing some work...

Post by lifeisfun »

After frustrating Thursday evening where boaters at the boat launch left cars and trailers on the boat ramp, and bunch of inconsiderate bozos on the water as well, I decided to do quickie this morning before going to work.

It was magical, water as glass, birds chirping a the sun getting slowly covered by clouds...
Only thing missing was wife visiting Europe for couple weeks, or Fordson who decided to hit the beach for couple days with family ...
YES Mike, YOU DON'T GIVE A %$#%^ ABOUT ME! :)

After about 20 minutes nice fish T boned my lure and the fight was on.

It will be pleasure to do some work now :)

HOW EVERY DAY SHOULD START !!
Work to live not live to work!
I'm thinking about heading down to the marina before work to do the same thing!

;) Great report!

Beauty fish man. Congrats on a great morning.

As for inconsiderate boaters it's amazing how many jerks are out there sometimes. Last week on the Miss one arsehole spent 25 minutes at the launch getting all their crap together and holding other people up before launching. Idiots.
It's only common sense to have everything ready to go before you pull up to the ramp. They should post signs at all public launches explaining the obvious etiquette for these clueless bastards who don't give a damn about other boaters.
Cheers

No kidding, looks like everywhere is the same :(
Another popular thing is to drop off the guy who will back up the trailer and then run the boat in circles like circus monkey,
and create wake to bang around all the other boats that are ready on the shore.

Great to hear your still on them.
Is it just me or are all the fish super chunky and healthy looking this year?

Shaping up to be a banner year either way.

We were out Friday as well and it was a great day for sure, just a bunch of pike for us no muskie. But there's always next time.

Yeah, chubbies for sure!
Every large fish caught had 2 or more lampreys attached :(
