For the record, I'm 6'3 if that helps.

I'm doing a personal experiment, and I'm hoping you can help. Can you guess how long this fish is??
To make things interesting, closest guess wins a day on the water with me. I'll take you out to try to wrangle one of these beasts for you.
Thanks for your help!

Hiya, HW
I am not too skilled at "guesstimates" on things that involve measurements of any numerical kind...but I'll give it a crack and say your muskie looks to be about 43". He (or she!) is bent, so that makes it tougher. Big, broad head on that whopper, too. You have some great pictures!
(If my guess is low, please don't be insulted! It's an awesome fish!)

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

I'll bite!
Using all the resources at my fingertips- and after careful analysis of all the data, I have determined that there are two fish!
The first was exactly 44 3/8 inches.
The second was only 43 3/4 inches.
Your measurements may vary from mine- probably due to the excitement of landing such a quality fish!

Well my guess would be 51".1 just incase it's bigger than RJ's guess
I'll have to see if i can get out with you sometime dave and show me how it's really done.. If we don't catch any muskie there's a good chance we'll have some 21"+ bass on the big baits .... Now i know why ed in winchester also sells muskie baits.. gezzzz and all this time i thought they were really intended for muskie That just ain't right and here we have big jim telling us to go small.... hmmmmm
Now now this is Hawg Wobbler we're talking about it has to be over 50" right ??
