Well I don't like losing a good fish (they are the ones that break/bite you off), but more importantly, the idea of a fish with a bunch of hardware stuck in its mouth dying a slow death is what really eats at me. I do anything I can to prevent it. If that makes me a pussy..... then meow.

Remarkable. I have had pike bite clean through 50# flouro leader material. I use wire of 80#+ flouro. What do you other pike/musky hunters use or not use?
