small boat - from Lac La Peche, Lac a la Loutre to ...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

small boat - from Lac La Peche, Lac a la Loutre to ...

Post by pspcfl »

Lac des Loups.

Try to find something interesting. I am wondering if it's possible to launch boat in Lac la Peche (45.635587,-76.189855) and sail to Lac des Loups (45.673413,-76.208731).

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

It sure looks like it might be doable but I doubt very much that you will have clear sailing.
The small boat should be substituted for a small canoe otherwise, use the Chemin du lac La Pêche 8)

There is a damn between Lac Lapeche and lac des loups. No chance of sailing from one to the other.

Lac Des Loups is a nice lake and has Walleye... but I am not certain where the launch is anymore. It used to be on the side of the highway, but there is no longer access possible from there. There *might* be another way in, but I am not aware of where that may be.

Lac Lapeche access would be from the parking lot at the beach (pay to park as you go through the gates) and you have to carry in your boat as there is a barrier put in to mitigate launching of large boats.

If you can get into Lac Lapeche with your sail boat, you will totally love that lake. Quiet and a lot of interesting water to cover.
