ok so we just had a great organization offer to donate some prizes for this thing which is greatly appreciated and a surprise as well. So a few more people interested and we will make this a go. The organization will also love to donate some combo's for any kid that wants to participate so here is some add ons to the very little rules there are.

Two categories:

Large mouth

Small mouth

Top 3 for each category will recieve something. Not sure what yet but it will be something

Also now if the interest is there we will have childrens category for both large mouth and small mouth and I would like to see kids no older than 14 in this category so from age 0-14 for the kids side.

I have a few things I am personally donating as well so we will have a few prizes for the winners.

As before the original rules will still apply unless someone else has a good idea of how this should go but if you do that does not mean I will listen...lol

Also note that Jimmy will be posting a picture of me when I had hair so no comments on it please!! Jimmy I will get you back one day bud! Ah all in fun right!

Well I suggest using a lead core line with a bell sinker only and see what you can catch Star!! that may give you a last place finish!!

I am going to put up a list of prizes and the awesome people and businesses that have donated them to us once I have everything figured out but it looks like there will be some good things for the top three in each. I also have another thought that was suggested by one of the members and so I would like to get a sense of who would do this.

Here it is:

On Oct 4th which is a Saturday we would all get together for a few hours of a fish and then meet up somewhere for a bite to eat and prizes. I am going to suggest either Mississippi Lake or Ottawa for the fish and then meet for food and good times.

What do people think about this idea?? It would get us all together like we did in the past and also allow us to put faces to names. If you cant make it no worries I can still get your prize to you if you dont make it out.

I would be in for sure though I think the format need some adjustments to simplify things a bit and a bit of rules also set in place. Taking a bit of notes from BountyFishing I think this could be a great idea, and the idea of an ice fishing virtual derby could work too. I'll add some input after work but Sept 1st sounds good to me. Tournament fish should be allowed as well, fishing is fishing, and it's all for fun in competition or not

Azabache & Junior are in on this! Sounds like fun & as shore fishermen we will take pics of of our catch , hopefully with a scale if we can.
Gives me another reason to buy a new rod after it broke on the Canal.
