Cold in August

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Cold in August

Post by CyrusG »

Some guys are complaining but i'm loving these temps, i'll be camping at a rainbow lake tomorrow and let you guys know how it went. I'm not sure what to expect it's the middle of august but with these temps they might be biting!

The weather wasn't that good but not that bad. I don't mind the temps we've been getting.

Now on the other hand, our (Team 28) tournament Season Sucked Big Time.
It sucked so much that we contemplated selling everything and taking up ice fishing ...
Then we found out that (Doobeens, Dohbeans, Dawwwwbins) don't make ice fishing rods. :|
So we are keeping all our high end stuff and will be back on the Tournament scene again next year. 8)

You know Star if you take the butt end of the fishing rod and any reel it becomes a cheap or in your case with Dobyns expensive cheap ice rod!! So you can still work the ice fishing circuit and have a great chance of some nice hard water fishing!!
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.
