Go to musky lures,

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Go to musky lures,

Post by ELLIS »

Will I just purchased a Calcutta 400 reel and have it spooled up with braid. From a recent post here, I was able to narrow done my choice of rod from your suggestions and recommendations.

Now to lures….. As I said in my recent “musky rod” post, I am getting this equipment so my brother in law has someone to fish with. My choice of prey is bass. I don’t want to buy an arsenal of musky lures. Just want a couple of spinners/ bucktails, top water and cranks. We will be fishing the Ottawa. Can you folks tell me your “go to” lures and their colours?

Thanks,

The reluctant musky hunter,

Bill
