Have to see this! Jackall Pompadour

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I still have some of the Good Ole Heddon Crazy Crawlers and hey still catch fish.
I stopped using the crawlers for fear of losing them to the big toothy critters that like to attack.

Now that Jackall has the Pompadour out, I may just get a few.
You can't go wrong with a slow noisy top water lure.

Ask Ed about the toothy critter he caught on one of those.

Good looking bait, but be prepared to pay for it. Nowhere near the price of a Heddon.

Some of these may make it into my tackle box before the end of the summer.

When I look at the amount of money I spend on my boat, gas, rods/reels, maintenance, etc, etc, etc, etc, I dont hesitate to buy quality baits. Regardless if its a Lucky Craft, MegaBass or Jackall. The point is to catch fish, and those companies make baits that work 100% of the time out of package. They also have expensive good quality hooks on them. Plus they are unique, so a few dollars after Ive spend thousands on getting there isnt going to stop me from trying them.......

I kind of compare this too the anglers who complain about gas prices when they own a $50-$70,000.00 boat and a $40-$60,000.00 truck pulling it. If your spending the money on a hobby might as well try and use the best....

They said the same thing about Heddon Baits back in the day.

People forget that it's a hobby. You must factor the costs (what you can afford) in your budget.
If it gets too expensive, it's because you are overspending and/or you don't have a budget.

I agree with you both but not everyone hear has the same views. I was mearly stating the facts as I iwll more than likely have a few of these in the box.

I own a lot of Megabass lures and continue to buy them. Yes it sucks when a Pike or Muskie take them, but it is all part of the game!

OMG!

Spence, I hadn't watched the video when I posted my comments. That thing is sick and what a racket!

One will definitely be making it into my box and probably soon!

I'm thinking that the designer for jackall has a Pompadour hair style.
How else can you explain the name of the lure.
If you don't know what that hair style looks like, take a look at Elvis. 8)

The designer is a hairdresser in Japan. Another of his creations is the scissorcomb, a soft plastic I'll have in soon.
