Finally! - my Largest open water WALLEYE

Boating season is coming to an end for us here on the St.Lawrence, but we've had a hell of a year!
Record number of fish and record sizes of fish were caught from Opening Day to present... including 7 & 8lb 'double headers' back in May - just crazy!!

the BIG GIRLS are moving from the channel to the shallows, pre-winter FEED IS ON!

number of local guys are catching some late night shoreline MONSTERS here locally - I'm talking 10-12lb+ fish! and LOTS OF THEM!!

BAY OF QUINTE? Phffffff.. we have a World Class Fishery right here!

My personal best, and beating a 40yr self record ( when I was 6-7? 8lbs 6oz's on a toy fishing rod ) ... was able to net this 8lb 11oz fish at 1pm in the blinding hot sun Sept 26th
just stones throw from our local harbor. Gone are the years of driving endless miles to beat old records... this puppy was waiting here at home all along lol

Camera shows major schools of Monster Walleye on the shoals in our area... with mixed species sizing - good news for the future!
