anyone ever get a blue perch?

anyone ever get a blue perch?

was out a couple days ago and found a first for myself.
knew it was a good fish coming up but when i lipped her and pulled it up she was as blue as a blueberry :shock:
pics really don't do the colors justice but gives ya an idea. anyone else gotten one?

You'd be blue too if you were swimming in that water!!!

He caught that Perch on Blueberry Hill Lake. :wink:

MNR will probably say that they do not exist anymore. Just like blue walleyes, but I've caught a lot of those and like you said they are definitely blue. The slime on them turns the snow blue!!!

I got a few last year on a lake near New Liskeard while fishing for specks. Cool looking fish for sure.

yep, I've got blue perch, walleye and bass they are rare and very neat to see

good to know keep us posted with reports guys should not be too much longer the temps are going down to minus 10 or so for a bunch of nights next week.
