I wonder how long it took to drill those holes and what they used. Probably tractors

There must be such a huge advantage to those fishing on the edge of the drilled out area (you can see miles and miles of lake that is untouched) compared to those in the middle of this "Kill zone".

Looks like it would be an absolute blast!!!

We have one like that every march in Buckham's bay ( George's ).
Fish have to be caught in the zone to count.
Well maybe not quite that big. :)

I did not see a single fish on the ice - but I am not going to watch that twice.............

Got that right, even though they have been running it for years, imagine the planning for such an event. They do it right for sure. Ice fishing tournaments in the stateside are a big deal. There are even travelling ice fishing circuits for panfish!
