Not too many ice reports
I have been out twice with Dano, Fishaholic, Marko and Lvace.
Caught a nice Laker on one outing and lost a brute at the hole the next.
Wifey is in FULL nesting mode and has me doing reno's like crazy at her place....
Washing boy clothes from premie to 4T non-stop.
6 weeks or less to go....AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hoping to get out Saturday (open seat?) and next weekend with Dano for sure! Before I am up to my eyeballs in "Browns"
So....how has it been fellas?

Re: How goes your HARD season?
Honestly with everything I've had going on this winter I've barely fished. I've seen 2 great outings and 4 or 5 so-so.
The cold has really put alot of people off this winter, then the snow making travel tough has limited alot.
Hopefully after this week I'll have everything in order to spend a bunch of time on the ice til she gets soft.

<<<<AHEM>>>>> I have not had a HARD season in a while.........
But yes the hard WATER season has been fairly spotty, lately due to deep snow. I think it was RJ who said a week or so ago, two days of rain would make me happy. Right now unless we get some kind of weather that knocks back the snow, we will get to ice-out without much chance to put any more holes in the ice......

Re: How goes your HARD season?
Got my son and step-daughter out on the ice this weekend for 3 hours.
The wee lad caught a walleye that got off right at the hole.
Had a few short strikes.
Weather was nice.
Talked to some gents who had been fishing since 6 am (we got there at 1:30PM).
The bite was S-L-O-W......
Still it was nice to hang out with them, go to Timmies etc
Oldest wasn't feeling well so she hung back with her step-mom.
Sunday she was right as rain! Swam for 3 hours at the pool and was back to herself!
She hopes to come next time.
With March Break next week me thinks there will be some golden ice time!

Re: How goes your HARD season?
Glad ya got them out! Started the season off on a roll that started to get near the end of the roll as February came around. Last few weeks have been real slow for me but I haven't been putting in as much time as I'd like to. I think the last fish (or fish worth remembering) was on Valentine's day.
Re: How goes your HARD season?
Valentine's day was brutally cold!
I spent it IN the Biodome.
Also, walking St.Catherine's street with a toddler in my arms (bundled up to the max!) with a VERY pregnant G/F who has gestational diabetes, food aversions and picky palate wasn't the easiest either! LOL
