Brown town

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Beautiful fish guys, thanks or sharing. That's the one trout that has still avoided my hooks all of these years...... One day, one day. I can't get over the beauty of those, man they are cool looking. Good works lads, I know you must have put a lot of it into the grand slam, congrats!

Pleasure seeing a report again of the ABC boys in action. Browns are total little beeeeyotches and I trust my nutty trout buddy's when they tell me not to bother... so I don't.

But you guys are better than that and the job got done right this time. 8)

Great fish for ya'll. :D

Thanks guys the browns are really a super cool fish, but man they can drive you up the wall

Markus, they were aggressive when they did bite, taking a lot off the spool before getting to them, but we were skunked two other full days for them that weekend, and the bites we did get were all in the same morning. Same spot, the next day set-up before the sun and nothing.

Out4trout, great to meet you on the ice this year! Hope ya were able to get out a few more times.

Hey Tippy...very nice work my friend. I myslef have never made the grand slam in all 30 some years fishing these damn trout. I have only one small 9" brown to report in all those years as well and it was from a now infamous lake that no longer has them..lol. Red fence!! Anyway three in a short period of time makes me think that the best school of browns swung by to help out. I bet the flasher was going crazy when they came in!

I will need to get my grand slam next year I think. Gave up the last few years on it.
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.
