So we packed up the ole civerado and we were off!
Got to my favorite pool to see two guys already hooked up and the water looking oh so nice
second drift my float drops! yup its gonna be another one of those days
short and nasty we smashed em again! and just had a banner day!
our patter of the day was to trow flys into slow water and fish like you were crappie fishing! twitch twitch boom!
except when you set the hook it was no stinkin slab
The goal of this trip was to get my girlfriend on her first steelhead!
she had a hard time with rubber hooks but mid day landed this beautiful fat hen!
Great success!
back at it tomorrow and Friday, Cant wait to see that float drop
