Yo-Zuri hybrid: any thoughts?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Yo-Zuri hybrid: any thoughts?

Post by Harpee61 »

Hi All
Since I am limited in the number of combos, I am trying to find, if it's possible, an all around line that would do reasonably well with various techniques. I came across some material about this line but I was wondering if anyone has had any actual experience with it? I was thinking of using 8lbs for finesse and 12lbs or maybe 15lbs for the rest. Any thoughts, comments welcomed.

Fished 15 and 20 down south...25 just didn't seem to work well for casting.
...anything to bend the rod

I used it for a while. I liked how it performed. I ended up picking up spools of 4, 6, 8 and 10lb test. I also liked P-Line Floroclear, so you may want to check that out as well.
However, I prefer braid and I've since spooled all my reels with braid.

I have used this line for trolling for many years... I use the 12 and 20lb... Amazing line and impressive breaking strength...
