The Grande Ice Cappuccino

With spring fast approaching and my ice fishin’ season done for the year I figured it was time to share a report from my hard water season. It started off with a couple of brookie outings that produced a few fish every time but not the huge numbers like in years past. I ended up losing my phone down the hole early on in the season so I lost all of those pictures.......

The brookie was < - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - > this big!!!

With the new cottage this season the winter was spent mostly chasing lakers. Why go anywhere else when you have a place to stay close to the lake eh? The season was filled with a bunch of lakers, some really nice walleye and a 1st pike through the ice. There were some long unproductive days but managed to beat my PB laker a couple of times throughout the season and also got my PB eye. Landed my first pike through the ice too which I could have used for bait haha. I got to meet a bunch of new F-Hawkers at the meet and greet at Tailgators and got to spend a bunch of days on the ice with a few of them which was a blast.
