Hi all
Its been years since we got together for some CATS on shore near victoria island
Will be ON for a night or two.
They will start soon.
Lets get those cats baits ready

I still have shrimps in garlic juice in my freezer from the last time I was there, you were probably there too!!!!

Might be a first try out next week,,wen a sunny day
Guys dont need mutch. Rod/reelgood line, sinkers hooks baits,,,worms.shrimps,,checken liver and so on. Chair,,mabe a stick or something to hold your rod still on shore! And a smile

For the ones that are new here or kind of or never came to victoria,,,,,simply make a search. Joco and cats for the past report..sure its been some time but ey time flies by!!!

What size sinkers do you guys use there? I tried 1oz bank sinkers and they always just got caught in current and then snagged

I cant say what size,,,but myself use flat sinker,,so at leastthey dont roll!
I usethose sinker usely for carp fishing,,,i got them at carp store in long sault,
Yes its snagy there just say i got a. Few doz sinkers and hook about in frone of the bench,,hahaha and not just me
.
So if someone can make there own sinker,,go for it.
Myself use a long rod,,,20 pound test aprox and a carp post for my rod, and flat sinker and usely cats hooks! And stinky baits.
Tuesday or wed look good for now. So will say monday night if a go tuesday or wed!

2/0 or 3/0 circle hook
some type of bait that reeks like hell

If you don't lose a few sinkers and hooks a night you are not fishing in the right spot. I am sure if the water goes down a lot somebody could open a tackle shop with all the sinkers he could pickup from in front of THE tree.
