Pros-Spec-Ting or This Is My Lake & Pauls Music Video

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Pros-Spec-Ting or This Is My Lake & Pauls Music Video

I will start with the Money Shot:

Now for the narrative. (Scroll to the bottom of this post for Pauls DubStep video)

Another outing with Paul (BassAddict) and more quality fish.

CRAZY long drive in over old washed out logging roads that most normal people stay away from, but this is Paul and Craig... so... ya.

Here are some photos Paul took.

Best one is one with fish poo on the side of my cheek and Pauls thumb!! Thanks for the makeup Paul!

Here are some shots I took.

Nice lake, worth the portage!

The Trout Unicycle worked well, but tough terrain still means it was a SOB getting the boat from one lake to the next.

Video is still processing, so I will post it tomorrow when it is done. Believe me, it is worth the wait!

Some dandy square tails there. Very nice. Looking forward to the video. Initially I'm real curious about why you prefer to use a bow mount electric rather than a stern TM or a small gas engine. Batteries are damn heavy. I can totally understand the quiet power point. I guess there's always a trade off.
Gotta love that boat land transport unitread system. Way to go.

Cheers

PQ'ers are simply spoiled with softwater back lake trout opps. Wish in Ontario we'd do something different with the management of ours. Some fine specks guys. :D

Great fish guys. Nice job. Can't imagine what it would be like hauling batteries and a tinny through the woods.

I have had the pleasure of viewing the video!
It is some of Craig's finest work. The Dukes of hazard landings you hear are great! And apparently they were not edited sound effects!

Nice share you two!

We will have a truck only when you see us using a freaking pansy bag. (I think they are called... Nets.)

@smitty
Using an electric is purely a weight choice, nothing to do with gas and noise. I would use a plutonium powered fan boat if I could. Neither one of us has anything under a 18hp gas motor. I have to admit it is getting tougher and tougher, but Paul at 50+ is in better shape than I am at 43 and spurs me on!
