crappie in Otter Lake or Big Rideau??

Just looking for anyone who can confirm if there is Crappie in either Big Rideau or Otter Lake (smiths falls) ? bought a trailer on Otter last year and this is the first spring i will be in that area. i know there is pike but with the kids i would like to zone in on the pan fish plus helps keep the kids hooked on fishing if the numbers are better than 1 or 2 pike would...

Yes, crappie are in Big Rideau. Unsure about Otter but I would think there in the lake too. Check out the Fish Online tool. Seen quite a few boats launching out of the campground off of Hwy 15 this year on Otter this spring. I imagine they were targeting panfish. Good luck!
