Old Guys Rule!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Old Guys Rule!

Post by RJ »

Things just keep rockin' along in the Lund. Two more awesome days this week with RJ Sr. aboard yesterday and my good buddy Wally on the Gar hunt today.

Spending time on the water with friends and family is always great but when the fishing is flat out wicked it adds a certain.....rush.

My Dad all the way home was just laughing about our day and how silly the fishing was. Double Header? Yup, Sure. How about a few?

Popped Wally's Gar cherry today with him putting 4 fish in the basket over 50 inches. As a die hard Musky guy he quickly became enamoured the Gar and their eagerness to destroy a lure. SO fun.

Apparently ya can show a couple older dogs new tricks!

Congrats. Great photos guys. Any tips for a gar first timer as to what lures worked well?

You're nailing some really beaut greasers, good going RJ.

You got me scheming an extreme lake O yak trip. That
would be an adventure for this old fart. :)
