Congrats Tia, looks like it turned out to be a good weekend for ya...

I was out on the Ottawa on saturday as well. Wasn't out long, 5 hours or so, but brought in over 20 pike, and only 1 OOS bass which I unhooked and put back right away.
Hell of a good start to the season.

I launched out of Petrie Island. Found the pike in warmer water, shallow bays.

What I enjoyed most was to avoid targeting bass, and fish specifically for pike. Don't get me wrong, when bass season opens, I'm all over it. But I do my absolute best to keep them on their nests, not bother them, and let em do their thing.

Pike sizes were all over the map, with some big ones landed. Non stop.
