I loved being proven wrong...BIG SLAB.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nice slab, I have caught a few 13" through the ice and thought they were nice. My partner caught one on a flipping jig in Bay Noire a few years ago that was big but I had no tape measure in the boat. Good luck on your 16"!

Thanks fellas. Great analogy Brad, 7 lb Largie is where I'd put it too. Considering it was a mouth closed measurement as well, had I done the old open mouth measurement like most do it would have been 16" no problem. Crazy fish and one that I hand landed because we had no net, bit of a scramble that was...

I've caught 11 over 14 inches I think but I spend waaaay too much time Crappie fishing..
