Season Openers getting close now!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Season Openers getting close now!

Post by Jimmy_1 »

So

Mooskie and BASS open in a few weeks (seems eons away).
Crappie, Pike, Walleye, Carp, gar and trout are keeping most of us quite happy!

My question is....

What is the 1st thing you are gonna throw on opener?

If all goes to plan, it will probably be a Megabass S crank 1.2. Bought two of them and want to try them out with my new cranking setup.

Not sure how that is going to pan out though since I plan on fishing a place I have never fished before. Gotta start studying for the OSVB first tournament of the year so heading out the Madawaska headpond.

I know one guy on here does that?

I prefer to sleep and get an early (daytime) start!

It's more like 4am!..... until and hour past dark. :D Who wants to sleep when you can fish for Bass?!?!?

As for my first bait, thats a tough one. Most likely nu-tech jigs with a chunk
