Wednesday night fun fish -Taylor Park

So the preliminary talks have been completed and I think we already have three boats. The first fun fish will be on June 24, 2015

The plan is to meet at Taylor Park. The reason for this location is it is closer to Ottawa and more people can usually make it. The ramp is concrete which also helps. You can buy a yearly pass at the machine so if you plan on fishing the Rideau or launching at any of the RVCA RAMPS, it is a good idea to buy the yearly.

If anyone needs directions, it's off of river road but I can post a map up if you would like.

Rules are simple and this is aside from normal boating safety rules and guidelines. Be respectful of the body of water and the people on it.

Fish from 6:00 - 9:00pm
Weigh in at the park after
3 fish limit that can include largies and smallies only.
For bragging rights only.

Not sure if this will be a weekly thing yet but let's get one out of the way and go from there. If you plan on attenting, just respond to this thread so we can see how many boats there will be.

i would go but havent got the time to get my boat out but if someone lets me fish from there boat i would be in !

ok never mind wed is ball for me and the 25th is a thursday i just noticed !! sorry!

Thanks Dano. I'll fix that! It was between Wednesday and Thursday. I guess I wrote Wednesday and put Thursday's date. It is on Wednesday June 24th!!!

That is the beauty of weeknight fishing. You almost have the whole river to yourself.

The Rideau is crazy on the weekends but boat traffic is minimal during the week. Plus, the bite is pretty good.
