Wednesday night fun fish -Taylor Park

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I might be in. New to the Ottawa area, and havn't fished the Rideau River.

I'll know a little better how the week shapes up by next Monday.

Dave, I would take you up on the open seat if it's available. Oneeleven you definitely get first dibs though, you commented in this forum about the open seat first :)

Looks like we will have a pretty good turnout of between 5-10 boats.

Should be a good time with a couple of new faces to be met.

It is open to anyone who wants to come on down. Just try to be there by 6:00.

And if you do not know where this ramp is, google Riverbend pub and dining. The address for this grill is 3256 River Rd, Manotick, ON K4M 1B4 and the boat launch is right beside it.

If coming southbound down River Road, it is on the right hand side literally right beside the restaurant.

How long of a drive is this place from Carleton Place?? I would like to make a couple if I could but time is few and far between this year for me.
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

Using Google maps it says from downtown Carleton Place to the Riverbend Pub & Dining, it is 46 minutes or 43 with traffic...

SN224... I'm sorry! I swooped in and snagged this open seat! Dave is really fun to fish with and his boat is super-sweet so I am pretty pumped at the chance. I hope there's another person who might be looking for a co-angler between now and then. I've only been to one of these, but they seem to really take form right around the actual day :)

Awesome.

And Tia is right. You may still be able to get in in the action. But in the past, I didn't really leave a lot of time for people to decide. This time, I figured I would post it a little further out

No worries Tia, I wanted you to have first crack at it. If an open seat becomes available I hope to see you guys there!
