So how was your opener?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Despite what some people seemed to think Bass still isn't open in zone 15 yet. I still got out for the day with the kids (which means one hour exactly) and had a blast!

When bass finally does open up I'm there all week. From what I've seen, it's going to be good 8)

My opener weekend was a blast! I didn't catch any lunkers, nor hundreds of fish, but cetainly some, but along with mostly large mouth and a few smallies, throw a bunch of pike, a massive bluegill and a what-we-think what would have been my first walleye that I didn't set the hook on properly and lost..... into the mix~

Got out on Big Rideau for 13 hours on Saturday, Sunday, after the rain passed early morning, it was another 11 hours in Lanark and then had Monday off and had the opportunity to take a ride in the Phoenix. 8) and got to spend another 10 hours on the Miss, exploring.

What a weekend

Wow T, 34 hours .. and in three days ... that's a season for some weekenders I know.

That first frog fish always feels like an accomplishment.

Great pics from what looks like a great weekend.

The Larry was sick again, the bro and I put north of 50 smallies in the boat. No real mules but loads of 4+ bangers with our best 5 going 22.55 lbs. It really is a ridiculous fishery.

Late but hoping for some feed back

Again, Lower Rideau Lake........ 2 Pike and a Tiny Small Mouth were all I had to show for after 6 hours on the water.

I'm glad you all had successful 'Openers' but I'm honestly starting to think that I just suck at fishing lol
Thanks
