I noticed last year that the north end of White Lake (Ontario) had very few cattails and Lilly pads while kayak fishing. Went out there yesterday, July 5/2015 and couldn't find any cat tails on the north part of white lake?
This is the part of the lake near the large trailer campsite by the village of White Lake.
In past years, there were acres and acres of cat tails and Lilly pads in this area, but not this year.
Something seems fishy here. Is the ministry of natural resources using Aquacide to control this part of the lake?
Where are the White Lake weeds?

If they are there should be notices about it. We used it for years on a certain strain of weeds in mosque and we had to put notices up a week before and up to a month after using it.
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.
