July 15th fun fish - Taylor Park

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Going to try and make it tonight as long as I can get things closed up at my shop in time. What are the rules 5 fish limit/largest fish?

We've got a newbie joining us!

That is awesome!

Any chance you have an open seat? One of the boaters will try to make it there but his boat is pulled apart and is looking for a ride.

and yes, Shawn is right in that it is a 3 fish limit

These were the rules for the first one:

Fish from 6:00 - 9:00pm
Weigh in at the park after
3 fish limit that can include largies and smallies only.
For bragging rights only.

As it seems there will be a good number of boats tonight, I will draw some names for a staggered start. I am going to go last because I want to take some pics and I will more than likely have the slowest boat there so it doesn't really matter to me :D I think The Maverick is going to blast down to the first bend to take some pics as well so although he won't be there, its not like they will be far.

Hope everyone has fund tonight!

Can someone explain why, when we are done the weigh-in, it is customary to eat party mix and doritos smashed up on ShawnD's boat?

That is just weird, but ok...

Thanks Deerhunter,
I managed to find an open seat for Swampdonkey but maybe someone else will take you up on it.

See you tonight!

LOL,

With Lorne trying to make it, we are going to be upto a possible 13 boats.

I have 11 confirmed and two tentatives (Lorne and Andrew)

Because of this, a couple of us having been talking and we are going to move the weigh in to on land just so we do not hold up the ramp for too long. I am going to figure out a way to draw starting numbers. so try to be there a little early.
