BITS AND BAITS STORE NOW CLOSED!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

BITS AND BAITS STORE NOW CLOSED!!

Post by Gord »

After 10 years in Stittsville, Bits and Baits will be closing permanently on Saturday, September 5, 2015. The property has been sold and we will not be relocating the store. We would like to thank everyone, customers and friends, for your patronage over the years.

Starting September 1, everything in the store will be at least 40% OFF, except for bait and licences. Store fixtures will also be for sale.

Time for us to do some more fishin'.........  :D

My favourite minnows for ice fishing gone forever....I'm devastated! Good luck with future endeavours, hope you get to spend lots of time on the water, well deserved.

Cheers

Good luck to you Gord and Marise. Thanks for being there for us! I pulled in there yesterday late morning and the store was closed, I wondered what was up.

Enjoy your time off if you can get it.

I'll echo everyones proclamation of 'best ice fishing minnows'. Stopped there many times on the way to the lake. Best of luck to you!

Most of my stops in at the shop were at 4:30am well before the store opened, Gord always went out of his way to ensure the early birds had bait. Caught many trout on those minnows. It will be an interesting winter finding bait and service like Bits and Bait has.. Thanks for everything over the years :)

What will you do next Gord?

Retire? Try a new venture? Hit the workforce etc!

Was always a pleasure to come shop and visit you at the shop.

Truly the end of an era.

I echo Tip-up. Will be interesting getting minnows now. Such an easy stop off the 417!

Best of luck with the new adventure Gord. There aren't many places who would leave products at the back door using the honour system--Bits and Baits will be missed.
