I'd love to join on Oct 4th. My wife would also love to come. Unfortunately we're boat-less so if anyone would be nice enough to take us along we'd love to pitch in for fuel and bring drinks and snacks. It was great times last year.

I forgot my BOVT slip in my bro's tackle box but here's a decent smallie i caught from shore in the city today at a new spot I've always looked forward to trying this year. I'm not sure what the exact measurement is but it seems to be 18 inches or a little under (Sorry for the greasy measuring tape, its about to go in the bin ) It wasn't a monster by any means but being within city limits from shore i was impressed . The fall bite is heating up!!!

Does this still qualify?

Not as long as Cy's ( fantastic Catch, color & markings Cy ...! ) but I got lucky today ( it's the NEW FISHHAWK HAT! ) with this smallie near Edingbrough park. Good fighting fish, thick & with dark markings. I think it is in at 13", so this will be my offical entry for smallie category.
I'll name him PATrick Now lets see everyone else submit at least 1 fish before end of the tournament & my BDAY & Bucket List week

Went out to Bennett Lake yesterday with the ORWL in search of Waldo,
alas couldn't track 'em down , but had plenty of fun with some VERY active
Smallies!! This was the biggest of the day for me, unfortunately didn't
have my FHBOVT I.D. with me, but at least you can read my measurin' stick!

Arrrg!! I had a really great entry for the Smallie div... had my tape and my FH sign.... did you think I'd remembered to measure her? Nope!

She was at very healthy 19" if not 20". Grr.

Last day everyone! Try get out there and post those last minute entries. I was out yesterday in the rain on the Ottawa from shore and only had one bite so I hope you'll have better luck than me.

Didn't get much fishing in last month, and any nice smallies I did get were in Algonquin park, so more than 2 hours away.
Hopefully people still get out so I can read the report, but I will likely be duck hunting and switching gears to muskie.

I forgot all about tomorrow. If it's still even happening... I'll have to be in for next year I guess.
