Cold weather forecast, as in really cold, and big winds.
People tend to put on lots of layers, that being the case, you don’t want to be falling in the water.
Can’t stress enough the use of a good PFD, I’ll be keeping mine on all day!

I also suggest to anyone weighing fish - WATCH YOUR STEP on the docks as they'll be extra slick. I nearly lost a winning-fish last year getting from the boat onto shore at this very event. I went down, foot wet, but held onto that bigg'un for all I was worth!

Yes those docks are slippery when wet.
The forecast keeps changing and to the better too, hopefully only a sprinkle in the morning.
