Salmon fishing opportunity

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Salmon fishing opportunity

Post by Jimmy_1 »

My cousin, who lives in the UK, has been living with his girlfriend in the guest house of her father's estate in Scotland.

As the estate is quite large, they have a Gamekeeper to help with the paid hunts and fishing on the property.
The property holds salmon which swim in from the sea. The gamekeeper has the duty of keeping the seals away from the channel opening as the fishing is a good money maker for the estate.

I have been asked to come and visit them at their guest house.Wet a line for the trout and salmon.

They sent me a picture of their house. My cousin and his lady are in the picture.

Tough decision.....

Oh here is the house. Didn't get any fish pics yet!

Now I know what Jimmy-1 is short for. Jimmy_1 _Lucky _Son_of _A_Gun :!: Cool decision to have to make. Even if the fishing is not so hot it sure is a great opportunity. Say hi to the Queen for me if you go, I'm sure she must summer there :!:

House!! That aint no house. I'm not sure that even qualifies as a mansion. Looks more like a castle. Wow.
You're one lucky bugger Jimmy. Enjoy your trip and take lots of pics.

Cheers

My cousin is one lucky S.O.B

I may go next year to visit him. I have not been overseas to visit family since 1999.
