Year end report! Looking forward to the ice season

It's been a great year, last year i learned a bunch of new spots on the ice and caught a variety of species throughout the season. In the spring of 2014 the water was a lot higher and colder so once walleye and pike opened i was catching huge eyes mid day in water so shallow i could wade in. Once it opened in the spring this year the spots i had luck in last year were too low, after a bit of searching it didn't take long before i started catching nice slabs, eyes, pike and the odd musky, i caught a few decent 10-15 pound carp but only targeted them 2 times this spring after dows was filled. There's a few lakes i fish out of the city that are good year round but most of my time spent is wading around in the city. The season isn't done yet though, i might have 1 more outing before i call it quits and wait for the ice season, sometimes fishing in a heated hut with a flasher can be better than open water fishing in my opinon  ! Hope everyone has a safe ice season

These are all the pics i have, I've released many nice fish fish quick without bothering to take a pic most days i'm out unless i catch one that's giant. The fishing around the city can be a lot better than some people think!

The splake are my buddies and bro's but i missed some big ones that day at my buddies private spot on one of the bigger lakes. We could see hundreds cruising trying to spawn, even with a live minnow on 4 pound line infront of their face we got a bite every hour or so. I'll get my first splake next time! They were monsters
