Plowjock's Year End Report

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I do have a little seniority on you. (Pete and a whole lot of the other fishermen out there, LARGE included)
I've also had some pretty decent guys giving me a hand in fishing and the ultimate part... CATCHING.
I'll mention some of these young fellas who have helped educate me on the finer points of fishing and Catching.
Trevor Cheney, Jason Kluver, Pat Behan.
These 3 young lads helped me get my feet wet, some 22 years ago.
If you take 22 years off of their ages, you'll realize just how good of a fisherman each one of them was and continues to be.
It surely pays to put in time on the water, study maps, and as I always say put in some Research and development every trip on the water.
I see too many guys going back to old honey holes all the time. Gat out, move around find new structure, new water on some of those bodies of water.
You sure can't see much on your fish finder if you're doing 70 mph re: watching bottom, new small humps etc.
just relax, have a good time on the water, enjoy nature and the tranquility that goes along with it.
Better than seeing a shrink any day, catching is a bonus.

I would think probably this weekend, Zeke.
If Mother Nature provides us with a warm day, wind free, you'll know you'll have had a hard days fishing.
Please, do NOT snore on the way home.
Have already had to clean sawdust chips out of cab.
My common sense hasn't died yet, nor my sense of humour.

Good job young fella!!!!! I don't need to see pics. I've seen you bring enough bigguns come over the rail throughout the years.
If you're gonna be stupid, you'd better be tough.

As Yogi used to say,"It ain't over til it's over."
Weatherman sure likes me, a lot more than the fish do right now.
King of the invasive species catcher. ZEBRA Muscles.
December 15 is coming soon, and no sign of it cooling off.
Have to dig out the sunscreen again.

Ian, it's taken some time to get RJ to believe in this fall Jerk bait bite.
After our day on that body of water with Brad,I'm convinced he now knows the fun and excitement.
Seeing RJ hoist his second 15incher on board made my day.
Then Brad goes and nails a 5 lb. largie on a jerk bait.
This is something a few of us have cultivated over the past 7 years.
The fall Jerk Bait bite..... fishing at it's finest, whether it's LM or crappie.
As you've read already 166 fish in under 5 hours, you know we're doing something right.
