Brockville area ice fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Temperance Lake would probably be your best bet. Loads of pannies in there for the kids. Pike and Largemouth Bass too. Small jigs tipped with Gulp maggots is all you'll need for the small stuff. Minnows for the Pike. Bass season is closed right now in case you didn't know. Not sure how the ice is though. You may have to scout it out first. Good luck

Huts are out and cars were on before the rain.
Skates would be good for the kids. Bring your cleats, the refrozen surface water under the snow sure is slick.
