What's next?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I just noticed that Ottawa Adventure Show is on in March which has a fishing component. That could be something?

I'll check that out ipjrobson. There is also the Orleans Boat World boat show going on.

Have fun Brad on your trip. I'm flying in Texas to fish Lake Fork on April 9th (tournament) and 10th (leasure). Hope I nail one of these Lake Fork monsters.

Go see Ernie at Lake Fork Resort if you get a chance, lots of info and a great tackle shop!

For me it's time to organize tackle, order new rods/reels, and this year to get new waterproof tackle trays set up. Maybe some steelhead soon and the kiwanis walleyeworld tourey at the start of may!!

I still have to tear all my reels down and clean/re-lube them, pick up boat and start adding new goodies and have a guide replaced on my CB rod. I'll probably pick up another combo as well.

It's organization time for me, getting gear sorted, previous reels torn down and cleaned, set ups finalized, and wait patiently for a huge snow bank to go away so I can drag out my boat and start setting it up with electronics and making it ready for the season.
Oh, and of course there is hours of WFN to consume when I have idle time.
It will be a big year for me switching from a canoe, to a bass boat.

Wait for the river to melt
Destroy the walleye population!

Hopefully get my 2 year old out to introduce her to a Barbie rod.

Explore the waters around our hunt camp ( we plan to use it more this year as a cottage).

Keep my wife happy etc...

New gear arriving daily. Waiting for my yard to dry up to bring the big girl home then it's game on.

Oh really? That's pretty cool.

I'll have to keep my eyes out for that

Any suggestions around Ottawa

Lake bay feeding an open water river mouth, 14-17FOW had perch stacked up last weekend.
All were females starting to bulge. I'm 1/2 way between Ottawa / Kingston, but Ottawa area should be similiar.
