***Run And Gunning Frozen lakes***

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Great job of getting out on opening day Kevin. Good catch. I'm particularly impressed by those whitefish. Beauties!

You're my kinda guy. Taking a sick day to go fishing.

Nice job on the specks man! I couldn't justify walking on the ice we checked out. I may have gotten on the lake in the morning but not off lol. Great report!

The ice.... What can i say about the ice...

Was NOT safe on the north side were the sun was shinning for the last week

But on the south side.

The ice had 8 " 4 black 4 white

At 2 pm the 4" of white was slush very scary.

We fished shallow for speck so it wasent that scary

But when we switched lakes abd went for whities....

That was an adventure.

6" 3black 3 white and soft... Very soft and bouncy

Was happy to get off and was happy to call it off the next day.

My buddies went back landing whitties in the stupid numbers

I was just too scared to go back

I should have filmed the trails with the 3 wheeler for the back bush specks

Got a flat tire 1/3 of the way in

1:30 ride in 1:45 ride out on a flat!!!

Those honda RULESSS

Chheeeeesus Rice those are gorgeous brookies. :o

Would sell my soul to find that size of them.

Interesting, I tried for brookies on sunday in an open water lake that I know is plentiful, not a damn bite.

Great report, thanks for sharing!
