This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Kayak Fishing for Pike Help!

Post by SmokeyFume »

I will be picking up a Kayak this week and planning on heading out this Sunday to hopefully catch some pike. I was wondering where would be the best chances of catching some nice sized pike, Rideau or Ottawa River?

Rideau near Bronson bridge will find some respectable pike.

Also the bay near Jacque Cartier park may hold some toothy fun.

Both are loaded with pike.
I would try near kemptville On the rideau or sherlys Bay on the ottawa both are good spots for pike and Kayaking. Not a tone of boat traffic

We'll be on the Rideau in two fishing kayaks, orange and blue, near kemptville creek and reeve craig. Say hello if you see us.
