“LUNKERS AND BUNKERS”
Golfishing Tournament
Wednesday July 6th 2015

Sunup – 11:00am Fishing on the Rideau River between Long Island Locks, Manotick, up to Hwy 416 bridge
12:00pm Fish registration, lunch, showers, range warmup back at The Meadows Golf Club, 4335 Hawthorne Rd. Ottawa, Ontario.
1:30pm 18 holes golf, cart, range, shotgun start.
5:30 pm Final scoring and cocktails
6:30 Dinner and prizes

General Details
Players must register as a team of two. Teams will fish and golf with their ‘mates. Teams can have a max. of one fishing or golf pro. There will be reserved parking for boat trailers back at the golf club.

All teams must fish the designated fishing zone. Teams can start fishing when they prefer, however must stop before the 11am deadline. Teams are responsible for their own fishing method, be it from a boat or from shore. As well as fishing equipment and the proper handling and release of fish.
Boat owners are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient insurance, life jackets, fuel and safety gear on board. As well as following on the water safety practices (alcohol, speed, weather etc.) Fishing licenses are not required as this event takes place during the Ontario free fishing week.
THIS A CATCH AND RELEASE EVENT ONLY, DO NOT RETURN TO REGISTRATION WITH ANY FISH. MARK YOUR RESPECTIVE FISH TYPE AND TOTALS ON THE TEAM SCORECARD.

Two person 18 hole “scramble format” with stableford points. Carts are included, men play white tees, women play red tees.
Scoring
Teams will be required to keep their total fish (Musky, Pickerel, Pike or Bass) and golf scores, with team points being awarded based on species and quantity of fish, eagles, birdies and pars. The highest combined score wins Lunkers and Bunkers!!
Points : Musky 20, Pickerel 15, Pike 10, Bass 5, Dbl Eagle 8, Eagle 5, Birdie 3, Par 2, Bogey 1,
Prizing
Top 3 Total Team scores ….Cash Payout
Big Fish (per species)(requires length and photo)… Gifts
Golf Contests (long drive etc.)… Gifts

How can any fish score higher than a double eagle haha!

And all these years I thought that golfing was for people who didn't know how to fish!!!

This would be a riot of a day to do with a buddy. Sadly I'm booked guiding that day but I'm sure those who represent us FH'ers there will have a blast!
