I tie my own streamers for them, i'm not too picky like RJ said they'll hit just about anything that moves infront of them

Has anybody ever seen this: larger gar with 3-4 smaller ones around it, and they are swimming like a whale and her young - the small ones stayed in contact with the larger while swimming around. Very cool.

I also had gar follows, never had that before. Gar would come up to the lure (any lure), touch it, and then swim beside it like just an inch away, right up to the boat. And NOT bite. Speed it up, slow it down, jerk a bit. Nothing. Really frustrating.
