Bark Lake (the one near Barry's Bay)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bark Lake (the one near Barry's Bay)

Post by Ikantski »

Looking to head here for a few days of crown land camping and fishing and was wondering if there's any information especially depth maps available. Navionics has a very incomplete top end, nothing on Angler's atlas or here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well that's a good nick for that area lol. Good one hehe.

As for the lake, I know I've seen depth maps for Bark before somewhere on line.

Now that I think of it, the Bancroft MNR office used to have some hydrograhic maps of Bark. Give them a call, they may have some left that they will mail you. Plus they can help with crown camping.

Thanks for the tip, they actually emailed me one albeit fairly low quality. However, now there's an easy to find map online :)

The fish online tool has depth contours and launch locations as well but the print tool seems to be permanently unavailable.
